Women entrepreneurs

Women entrepreneurs in India have come a long way.

                        Women Entrepreneurs

Women Entreprenuers, its a new revolution that has gained  momentum in these few past years. Planted on the public approach, women entrepreneurs may be characterized as a woman or group of women who commence, organize and shoot a business enterprise. The first women entrepreneurs is Kalpana Saroj, of Kamani Industries. The lady has proved dreams can only become reality when you put your hard work and dedication. She is the inspiration for thousands of young girls who want to be like her.

As an entrepreneur, a woman administrator has also to perform all the functions involved in establishing an estate. These include idea generation and screening, determination of objectives, project preparation, product analysis, determination of forms of business organization, completion of promotional formalities, raising funds, procuring men, machine and materials and operation of a business. The Government of India has defined women administrator based on their participation in equity and employment of a business enterprise. In analysis, women entrepreneurs are those women who think of a business enterprise, initiate it, organize and combine the factors of production, operate the enterprise and undertake risks and handle economic uncertainty involved in running a business enterprise.

But, in legitimate life, the authenticity prevails otherwise. Our society is still male-dictated and women are not treated as equal partners. They are evaluated as weak and dependent on men. As such, the Indian women enjoy a disadvantageous status in the Society. The World Conference of the United Nations Decade for Women held at Copenhagen in Denmark on 30th June 1980 adopted a program aimed at promoting full and equal opportunities and treatment of women in employment. The Sixth Five Year Plan proposed for promoting female employment in women-owned industries.

Efforts  that Government and voluntary agencies rise up to hitherto unrecognized and unaccounted for the strength of women to integrate them in the process of industrial development, more especially small-scale industry development in the country.
